Pitch Range
Privacy Policy
Pitch Range is provided by 天津市蓟州区浮点飞跃网络科技工作室（个体工商户）, which uses Floating Leap Studio as a studio and product brand. This policy explains how Pitch Range accesses, uses, stores, and shares data.
Microphone Access
Pitch Range requests microphone access so it can analyze sound and estimate pitch while you are using the pitch meter or voice range test. Microphone input is processed locally on your device. Pitch Range does not store raw microphone audio and does not upload raw audio.
Local Data
Pitch Range may store the following data locally on your device:
- Voice range test history, including detected range, comfort reference, stability, and environment quality.
- A local identity used to support encrypted backup and restore.
- Privacy acknowledgement state and app preferences.
This data stays on your device unless you choose to share a result image or export an encrypted backup.
Backups and Sharing
If you choose to export a backup, Pitch Range creates an encrypted backup file using the password you provide. Pitch Range does not receive your backup password and cannot recover it if you forget it.
If you choose to share a result image, Pitch Range prepares the image locally and asks Android to share it with the app you choose. After you share data with another app, that app's own privacy practices apply.
No Advertising, Analytics, or Account Login
Pitch Range does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash reporting SDKs, cloud sync, online account login, or automatic upload in the current release.
Third Parties
Pitch Range does not automatically share your data with third parties. Data may leave the app only when you take an action such as sharing a result image or exporting a backup file.
Security
Pitch Range uses Android app-private storage for local records. Local identity secrets are protected with Android platform cryptography. Exported backup files are encrypted using the password you provide.
Children's Privacy
Pitch Range is not designed for children as its primary audience. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If Pitch Range adds features such as analytics, crash reporting, cloud sync, account login, payments, advertising, or online services, this privacy policy and the related app store declarations will be reviewed and updated before release.
